Two more people have been arrested related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.
A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.
These detentions follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.
A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been released.
Officers detained a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.
Police were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of people injured by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.
The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
