The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the customary stare-down, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
